广州榄雕属我国传统微型雕刻核雕中的一个品种,主要分布于广州市中心城区及所辖增城市新塘镇。明代已有寺院僧人把榄雕船售给香客,以示“普渡” 之意。
本小组选择核雕进行公共建筑艺术设计。回归传统,回归自然的一条路径与载体在核雕艺术作品中,总是有不少传统文化及中国古代那些回肠荡气的故事题材。在赏玩核雕作品的过程中,我们难免会去了解这背后的文化底蕴与故事。在传统故事与自然的合一中找寻自身的终极关怀方式。通过开普勒宇宙模型给以我们启发,以核雕的形态、宇宙的融合进行设计。
我们希望通过结合参数化设计语言将它的形象进行重构,利用它在其他方面的应用,让它更好走进我们的生活,以新的面貌,传承传统非遗的文化涵养。
