EPPG #052019 | 用气动机械结构，去探讨身体与技术之间的界限

 

 

EPPG #052019（The Experimental Prototype of Project Golem #052019）是 Studio NOWHERE 持续研究的概念项目。在早期项目研究经验的基础上， EPPG #052019将新的研究侧重点放在机械肢体上，利用气动系统和自主开发的空气肌肉带（Air Muscle）作为运动能量供给源和动能输送支持，从气动结构到有机形态结构实验性地设计并制作了多组装置。

The Experimental Prototype of Project Golem #052019 (EPPG #052019) is an evolving concept developed by Studio NOWHERE. Based off of one of the Studio’s early research projects, the EPPG began with the investigation into a structure of a mechanical limb, using pneumatic devices and studio-made air muscles to convey the power of a football kicking movement for which the studio experimented with different designs from pneumatic structures to biomorphic mechanism.

在展览主题下，为了营造一个沉浸式的体验，EPPG #052019 结合了环绕立体声系统，在有限的展览空间里，模拟足球场的声学效果，扩大空间感和想象力，丰富观展体验。音效与装置的运动同步，观众可以感受到足球场上真实的声音。

In order to create a dynamic and immersive experience, the EPPG #052019 has been taken to the next level by integrating a surround sound system. From the audience’s auditory perception, the sound system virtually expands the space into a size of football field. The audience will fully believe they are cheering onto footballers during a game, hearing sounds from this that are perfectly synchronised with the movements of the installation.​
