上海纽约大学交互媒体艺术专业与视觉艺术期末展/IMA+VisArt END OF SEMESTER SHOW

上海纽约大学交互媒体艺术专业 (IMA) 期末展一年举办两次，今年将继续与视觉艺术 (Visual Arts)项目共同举办秋季学期期末展。在两个小时的展示时间里, 学生将就本学期课程的期末成果进行作品展示。

IMA & VisArts Show is a twice-a-year show held at the 8th floor. It is a two-hour exhibition that showcases a wide range of interactive and art projects by students of IMA’s and & Visual Arts classes.

Interactive Media Arts (IMA) is focused on exploring the expressive possibilities brought about by emerging forms of technology, media, and communication. In concert with the liberal arts core, student interests drive an ever-evolving project-based curriculum, that is designed to facilitate the acquisition of both the conceptual insights and practical skills needed to build the innovative human-centered design projects imagined by our students.

The Visual Art area of NYU Shanghai offers its students a vibrant place to explore art in a cross-cultural context. Students are encouraged to expand their notions of the world by considering the nature of art within the social landscape of the local, the regional and the global. Courses in the visual arts supplement technical skill learning with conceptual, theoretical, analytical thinking.

上海纽约大学视觉艺术给学生们提供了一个在跨文化环境下探索艺术的空间。学生们被鼓励着在本土、区域和全球的社会框架下思考艺术的本质以拓展他们对于世界的认知。视觉艺术的课程在技术知识的基础上也提升学生们的概念式、理论式和分析性思维。
