工作坊简介

上海视觉艺术学院当代艺术跨媒介研究中心举办以第12届上海双年展为基点、以青年教师和社会艺术族群、学生为主要对象的名为“在场”的工作坊。

工作坊的目的是以双年展的现场为出发点，结合工作坊学员的思考、工作、学习和作品现状，通过现场观展、文本导读、讲座和讨论会的学习形式来提升对当代文化艺术的认知。

关于主讲人

夸特莫克·梅迪纳
Cuauhtémoc Medina
策展人、评论家和艺术史学家
 
1965年12月5日生于墨西哥。拥有墨西哥国立自治大学（UNAM, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México）历史学学士学位，以及英国埃塞克斯大学（University of Essex）艺术史及艺术理论博士学位。
1993年起任教于墨西哥国立自治大学，并担任其艺术研究所全职研究员;

2002年至2008年间担任伦敦泰特美术馆（Tate Modern London）首位拉丁美洲当代艺术收藏联合策展人。
他的艺术观点广泛地著述于各类杂志、期刊与出版物。

1999年至2013年间负责墨西哥城《改革报》艺评专栏；

2017年出版名为《双向滥用》（Mutual Abuse）的专著，回顾了其有关墨西哥的主要艺术研究。
他曾参与组织、策划多个国际大型展览和艺术项目，包括：

弗朗西斯·埃利斯（Francis Alÿs）的《当信仰移动山脉》（When Faith Moves Mountains，2001年，秘鲁利马）；

《差异时代：墨西哥1968-1997艺术和视觉文化》（The Age of Discrepancies. Art and Visual Culture in Mexico 1968-1997，2007年至2008年）；

第53届威尼斯双年展墨西哥国家馆的项目《我们还能谈什么？》（What Else Could We Talk About?，2009年）；

西班牙穆尔西亚当代艺术计划（PAC Murcia）的展览项目《食人多米诺》（Cannibal Dominoes，2010年）。

2012年，梅迪纳担任第九届欧洲宣言展（Manifesta 9）总策展人;

2013年起，他担任墨西哥国立自治大学当代艺术博物馆（MUAC）首席策展人，为诸如哈伦·法罗基（Harun Farocki）、Raqs媒体小组（Raqs Media Collective）、杰里米·戴勒（Jeremy Deller）、安德烈·弗雷泽（Andrea Fraser）、文森特·罗霍（Vicente Rojo）、文森特·梅森（Vincent Meessen）、豪尔赫·马基（Jorge Macchi）、吉尔·马吉德（Jill Magid）、黑特·史德耶尔（Hito Steyerl）等艺术家策展。

近期担任《谈判的故事》（A Story of Negotiation）项目策展人，该展先后于墨西哥、阿根廷、古巴、加拿大及美国巡回展出。
2013年获得梅尼尔基金会（Menil Foundation）颁发的Walter Hopps策展成就奖。

Cuauhtémoc Medina

(Mexico City, 1965)

Art critic, curator and historian, holds a Ph.D. in History and Theory of Art from the University of Essex in Britain and a BA in History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). 

Since 1993 he has been a full-time researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas at UNAM, lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature, and the Postgraduate Department of Art History of the same university, and between 2002 and 2008 was the first Associate Curator of Latin American Art Collections at the Tate Modern, London. In 2012, he was Head Curator of the Manifesta 9, Genk. Since 2013, he is Chief Curator at the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC), Mexico City. He has widely published texts in books, catalogues and periodicals, and among other things between 1999 and 2013 he was in charge of the art critical section of the Reforma newspaper in Mexico City, titled “Ojo Breve.”A recent compilation on his critical interventions on art in Mexico has been published with the title Abuso Mutuo (Mutual Abuse) by Cubo Blanco and RM in 2017. In 2013 he was granted the Walter Hopps Award for Curatorial Achievement by the Menil Foundation in Houston, Texas.

海伦娜·查韦斯·马克·格雷戈尔

(1979年出生于墨西哥，现居墨西哥城）

拥有墨西哥国立自治大学（UNAM）哲学博士学位的海伦娜现任美学研究中心研究员。

2009年至2013年期间，她作为学术策展人就职于UNAM当代艺术博物馆（MUAC），致力于推进名为“校园扩展批判理论”的项目。海伦娜现于UNAM教授艺术史本科课程。

2015-2018年间，由苏黎世艺术大学当代艺术研究所和孟买Khanabadosh实验中心联合推出，海伦娜与艺术平台Teatro Ojo及夸特莫克·梅迪纳（Cuauhtémoc Medina）合作了一项名为“点亮夜晚”（At Night Ligthing）的实验项目。

2018年，她与维吉尼亚·罗伊(Virginia Roy)在前特蕾莎当代艺术中心（Ex Teresa Arte Actual）共同策划了西蒙·古什(Simon Gush)的展览“工作之后”（After the Work）。

她还与夸特莫克·梅迪纳和亚历山德拉·拉巴斯蒂达（Alejandra Labastida）合作，于MUAC策划了“颜色理论”（'Color Theory'）展览（2014年9月至2015年2月）。

2010年在马德里的CA2M和2011年在墨西哥城的城市博物馆她策划举办了“批判性拜物：普通经济的残留物”展览。

她的专著《朗西埃：坚持政治》（Rancière）和《美学的反抗》（Revolt of Aesthetics）将于2018年出版。

她新发表的文章包括：《我们都处于危险之中——关于约舒亚·奥肯（Yoshua Okón）作品的政治解读》《不管发生什么，都要出现》《占领空间，为政治而战》等。

Helena Chávez Mac Gregor 

(Mexico, 1979; lives in Mexico City)

Helena is a researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas (Research Institute of Aesthetics) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico), UNAM. She holds a PhD in Philosophy by UNAM. From 2009 to 2013 she was academic curator at Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo, (University Museum of Contemporary Art), MUAC, where she developed the program in Critical Theory Campus Expandido. She currently teaches at the postgraduate program of Art History at the UNAM.

She worked with Teatro Ojo and Cuauhtémoc Medina the project “At Night Ligthing” an initiative of Draft, produced by IFCAR of the University of the Arts in Zurich and Khanabadosh Laboratory at Mumbai between 2015-2018. She curated with Virginia Roy “After the Work” of Simon Gush at Ex Teresa Arte Actual in 2018. She curated with Cuauhtémoc Medina and Alejandra Labastida 'Color Theory' at MUAC from September 2014 to February 2015. With the Red Specter she curated the exhibition “Critical Fetishes: Residues of general economy” at CA2M in Madrid in 2010 and Museo de la Ciudad in Mexico City in 2011. Her book Insist in Politics. Rancière and the Revolt of Aesthetics will be released in 2018. Amongst her most recent essays is “We Are All in Danger. A Political Reading of the Work of Yoshua Okón”, “In Spite of Everything, To Appear”, “Occupying the Space, the Battle for Politics”.
